Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) opened
The Great British Bioscience Festival at Museum Gardens in London on 14
November, bringing local schools and tourists to see the scientific
sights.

The festival saw BBSRC researchers come together to exhibit the best in
British bioscience, with several universities including University of
St. Andrews and University of Bristol presenting their work.

Exhibits included the chance to go on a tour through the human digestive system and see how replacement body parts are made.

The festival is part of a drive by BBSRC to try to get more children interested with science.
